YOUTH ART CAMP - FOR YOUNGSTERS 10-16-YEARS-OLD

33. class

July 1-7, 2019

In a complex training, students can get acquainted with many fields of fine and applied arts at the Zebegény Youth Art Camp, where art education has been going on for 3 decades for children and young adults. The teachers’ goal was to elevate the creative work in Zebegeny above the usual extracurricular student activities.

Drawing, painting, and sculpting, also known as color and line, shape and space are complementary ideas in the language of fine art. We would like to provide space for the interesting interactions of these core principles, dialogue and diversity at the Youth Art Camp. Here imagination and reality, traditional and contemporary technical exercises are in rotation, providing an open and varied creative process. As the students are surrounded by professional art teachers, a beautiful venue in the nature and close to the ouvre of Istvan Szonyi, they can become truly involved participants, creating art.
